Welcome To The 2007 CU Convention Itinerary

We invite all CU, AU, IF and CPFA members and friends to the Canadian Racing Pigeon Union Convention and race. Only birds with the
International Federation recognized rings / bands can be accepted for the race. It will be a 3 day convention Fri. Oct 05 to Sun. Oct.07. The race will be flown Saturday Oct. 06 weather permitting Race will be 300Km plus Weather permitting The convention race will be a Club Race from the NE to Tillsonburg & District area, and will be a multi-loft race. We have
approximately 20 handlers ready to accept birds.
All birds entered will be on a draw system only.
Note: Handlers may enter birds. However, they cannot be raced from their own loft. They will be placed in another handlers loft on the draw system. There is a $10.00 buy back option in place.
Birds not bought back become the property of the handler after the convention race.
All entered birds are the responsibility of the handler, and can be flown in races using the best of her or his judgment on training & racing.
There is no Convention bird auction in 2007 because of the $10.00 buy back option.
Entry Fees
$85.00 with the $10.00 buy back
$75.00 with no buy back
How the entry fee is divided
$10.00 for the Ladies Auxiliary
$10.00 for the Tillsonburg RPC.
$35.00 breeders prize money
$20.00 a bird handlers prize
total $ 75.00
Birds will be accepted – at London -or-Hamilton airport, from other provinces.
Notice must be given on the date and arrival time.
Birds will be accepted Sunday April 22nd And Picked up at Chatham - London
Kitchener- Hamilton-Toronto-Pickering- Oshawa - Kingston
Also birds will be received at the club house on: Sunday April 22nd 9:00am to 12p Noon
Saturday April 28th 9:00am to 12 Noon
No Birds Accepted after May 1, 2007
Progressive Pooling will be 10-1 starting at 1,2,3,5,10,20,50 pool
