Hi I just recieved this email and thought I should share it with you.
Hello folks,
A new section page has been added to the www.ipigeon.com auction site called “AUCTION BIRDS IN CANADA”. This page will help flyers move their birds across Canada and also expose their lofts to the USA. I found that we have quality stock in Canada as well. Equal and if not better than what I see in the USA, however our sport has kept a very low profile.
Anyone getting in or already in the sport had no access or information on available birds in Canada via the net. There are many advantages of having access to a year round auction site and even better it is within the most visited pigeon auction site. It provides a way of selling some of your birds, exposure to your lofts and performance across Canada and as an added bonus to the USA.
Let’s help our sport by giving it as much exposure as possible. The CRPU has already laid the groundwork to facilitate the movement of pigeons across Canada by gaining permission to ship birds via Canada Post this year. The cost of shipping using Canada Post is very economical. At the moment it is not a twelve-month approval but it is a good start. I am sure that if we use it with the guidelines already established by USPS we will gain further approval. While it is not required we should always ship using the USPS approved shipping boxes. The last thing we need is the post office union to start complaining about pigeon dust.
Unfortunately the auction site does not deal in multiple currencies. I am sorry for the minor inconvenience but you will buy and sell in USD, just do the conversion before doing any trading. Ipigeon will collect the monies and advise you of when to ship. They will transfer the funds to you only after the birds are shipped and received. It is to protect both seller and buyer.
If you have any questions or require assistance then feel free to contact me.

Thanks for the info Tony. That sounds like a very valuable tool for the Canadian fancy. I have purchased pigeons thru ipigeon.com and found them to be a very reputable service. A positive step forward for the sport in Canada.
