Pete this picture has many of the features within it's make up that I have been talking about. It's a pretty good example of the kind of eye's and features that I had in mind when I was describing the racing compost eye and some of the other things I mentioned. Note how the eye-sign circle is a darker color in the lower frontal racing area. This is because of the presence of the composition. Note also how the eye-sign actually increases in width in this section of the eye. This is the widest the eye-sign gets throughout the entire eye. You can also see how the gray pigment in the eye, primarily accumulates in the area of the iris but, doesn't cover the circle of eye-sign very thickly. This and the composition are excellent signs in many ways and tells us that this bird will most definitely race well but, ( and here's where this subject stands alone). Look at the protrusion of eye-sign out into the Iris in the rear breeding area at the 3 O'clock mark, exposing the true width of the eye-sign beneath the iris. This tells us without any doubt that this same bird will breed it's own kind and even better. Thus what you see clearly from all these signs is the eye of what is called a Dual Purpose eye, or D/P Pigeon. One that can both win races and breed winners. I also want to draw your attention to the inner area of the iris, You can clearly see the two tubes lying one atop the other, and the distinct boundary line where the top red tube becomes more compacted. The vermeyen ring is obvious and in all this is a very well bred pigeon with a magnificent eye. You cannot find eye's like these in birds which cannot perform. Pete I also wanted to point out the shark tooth serration's of the circle of serration which are also located right in the racing area where it should be for the top racing bird. Notice the distance lines traveling around within the eye-sign ring and the iris and what you have is an excellent pigeon in every way. I can't sat enough about this eye.

Are we looking for the shark tooth on the CS, on the upper back side for breeding or is it(the shark tooth) only applicable to flyers?

To pete. It appears in both areas Pete, and it's really that simple. No secrets, no special God given gifts or special equipment required. especially those rediculous eye boxes.

The serrated star as it is called, is something else you will hear about one day and with luck even see one, and this is an eye in which the serrations of the iris boundary are very large in size and can be seen occuring all the way around the outer edge of the eye-sign ring. They are quite rare these day's but do exist, and are the Ultimate in Dual Purpose eye's.

ATTENTION ALL INTERESTED PARTIES.

I should have know better but I accepted the invitation to visit Myrons site to see the picture of a Serrated Star he claimed was there. As I expected, There is no such thing amongst his collection of eye pictures, which once again proves that he doesn't know what he is talking about. He did the same thing recently with the single tubed eye.

There is one question I have though as a result of my visit and that is, where did you examin those many thousands of eye's you claim to have seen? Not long ago you were unable to provide us with any names of any lofts you have graded, several of the names you intimated that knew you denied it and said you are regarded as a joke back P/Rico, so where did you see these many thousands of eye's.

The truth is Myron that you haven't see any such thing, the only thousand's of eye's you ever saw were in books and magazines or on the web.

Even your web site is nothing more than a collection of bit's and pieces of information from other sites and off tapes and the net, together with their photos gathered together and given your own enterpretations of what the other site owners had to say about them. But as usual when you have done this in the past, the information ends up being all skrewed up and WRONG, mainly because of your gross lack of understanding of the written word and the subject matter. And you do this time and time again. Let me give you an example.

The eye you claim is a Star Serrated is not as you claim, it is simply a protrusion in the breeding area. A great example I agree, but not what you claimed it was. Because you have never seen a Star Serrated sign, NOT MANY PEOPLE HAVE.

You said that that bird has never been beaten in any eye-sign show. THAT IS ALSO WRONG. It was beaten by it's own brother which was shown on here and called the ULTIMATE BREEDING EYE. I know this is true because I judged them at that same show in Sydney Australia.

You have tried in vain to make it sound and appear as if you personally have done the work involved in breeding, finding and photgraphing these eye's when in truth, all you done is to collect the pretty pictures of them. You're a fake Myron, a phoney and an imposter. Stick to growing dandy lions and leave the pigeon sport to those who know what they are doing which you obviously do not.
